Can I use these test strips to measure my creatinine on my usual glucose meter?

Unfortunately no. The optical reading technology of the Lysun test strips is specific. They only work with the Lysun Renal Function Analyzer. If you insert these test strips into another device, you risk getting an error or, worse, a totally false result.

I already have lancets from another brand, are they sufficient?

Yes, to prick your finger, any sterile lancet is suitable. However, be careful with the blood volume: creatinine requires 35 µl. If you are not used to dosing the drop by eye, we strongly advise you to use the 35 µl mini-pipettes (sold separately) to guarantee a successful test.

Why must I insert a chip into the device with each new box?

It is the guarantee of your accuracy! This chip contains the calibration "keys" specific to the manufacturing lot of your 25 test strips. It allows the device to adjust perfectly to the current chemical reagents so that your result is as reliable as in the laboratory.
